Quality
Baseline requirements
- Maintain a documented quality system suitable for aerospace work; AS9100/ISO 9001 preferred
- Use current drawings/POs and flow down requirements to sub-tier suppliers
- Notify Harley & Son of nonconformances or delays immediately with proposed recovery plans
- Provide Certificates of Conformance and special-process certs with each shipment
Special processes
Control and traceability
- Only use approved processors for anodize, chem film, plating, passivation, paint/primer, and heat treat
- Ensure lot traceability for materials and finishes; retain records for review
- Calibration for inspection equipment must be current and traceable to NIST
Delivery
Packaging and shipment
- Package parts to prevent damage and protect finishes; include labels with part and PO number
- Include packing slip and cert package on the outside of the box for quick check-in
- Contact us ahead of time if delivery dates need to be adjusted
